Hòrnamentu di Kuku (baking of Kuku - small agave)
Baking ‘kuku’ is a technique for making food from the kuku plant (Kuku di indjan/kind of agave). To do this, the lower part of this plant is cut and placed on some heat-resistant stones (piedra di sabana) or bricks. The stones are first heated with fire. Then the branches of the kuku are placed on the hot stones. The kukus are first covered with leaves of the oliba tree and then with soil. The kuku is baked in the oven for three days. Calabash is also added to the kuku.
