The way the feast of San Juan and of San Pedro are celebrated on Bonaire is very unique for the ABC islands. The celebration of San Juan begins at noon on June 23 (the eve of the celebration of San Juan). From midnight onwards, people jump over the fire. After this, the group of musicians and people celebrating San Juan visit the people who are called Juan or have a name derived from it. A week after this it is repeated in the same way with San Pedro on June 28.
